Waltja and Frontier Services have entered into an agreement to jointly administer the Commonwealth Carelink Program in Central Australia.
Waltja is responsble for service delivery and access to information in remote communities of Central Australia. Frontier Services is responsible to provide shopfront access in Alice Springs and to maintain the 1800 telephone access.

The program provides a national toll free number where people may obtain information about Aged and Disability services. The service is available to indigenous and non-indigenous people and operates from 8.30am to 4:30pm every working day of the year.
Project workers maintain and regularly update a data base of services and facilities available and can provide you with current information and referrals.

The Commonwealth Carelink service also has a range of literature and brochures about Aged and Disability services available, which can be forwarded to clients living in remote areas.
