meeting. Local workers employed as facilitators/translators. Separate
meetings arranged with men and women wherever possible. Non-Aboriginal

of community priority.
Report distributed to community, training providers and, where
applicable, funding bodies.
Field workers follow up with training providers to try and arrange
community visits about specific training programs identified by the
community (Waltja may be the training provider for some courses). Where
feasible, field staff visit community with service providers to assist
in enrolment process across a range of training courses.
After a suitable interval, field staff follow up with community
and training providers to establish what training has actually been
facilitated.
Follow up report prepared detailing outcomes of training needs
analysis and distributed to community, training providers and funding
bodies.
Advise appropriate Training Advisory Council where identified
need is unmet.
Consider possible extension to scope of registration to address
identified unmet needs.
