Tim Fairfax Foundation visit to Waltja

Tim Fairfax Family Foundation visits the Waltja Publications Unit

This project is supporting a young Aboriginal person to gain training and qualifications in Arts Management through workplace mentoring, accredited and non-accredited training and learning to work in a variety of art-related areas. Through this project Waltja is going to be able to record more dreaming stories, family histories and stories in language as well as catalogue and document art works and artist profiles on the Waltja website. This program has supported one trainee into a full-time position in arts administration, and now a new arts admin trainee has started up with Waltja.
