Kukula Mcdonald is a local Luritja artist from Papunya that supplies us with her stylish necklaces made of native Australian Ninti seeds and Quandong seeds. She is well known for her wonderful painting of the Papunya landscape with the beautiful red-tailed black cockatoos soaring above in the sky.
The making of the necklaces consist of pocking the seeds with a hot metal wire to pierce a hole right through the centre and sometimes burning the Quandong seeds, this gives the seeds and the overall necklace a distinctive look and smell.
We can pick one which you prefer, or we can surprise you. These are great stocking fillers, they are also stylish enough to brighten up your outfit and make it look a little festive and elegant!
This is ECO JEWELLERY made from natural bush seeds and gumnuts, some painted, some with burnt designs
