'Doing Good Work with Families'

What an amazing month for Alice based remote dialysis provider Purple House. A few weeks ago, Health Minister Ken Wyatt answered their pleas for extra support for their renal service resulting in $25 million over the next 4 years.

This funding will provide support for Purple House programs in the NT, SA and WA. It will also help more people stay on country for dialysis treatment.

Purple House have provided a new model of caring and wellbeing for patients in remote communities. Sarah Brown, Purple House CEO said “it gave indigenous people hope, families stay united and traditional owners can look after their country”. “we’re not just saving people, we’re saving a way of life”.
