'Doing Good Work with Families'

I started my tyre work back in 2015 while working for the Local Council at Mt Liebig Community. I soon identified how many old tyres were left lying around the community and began looking at ways they could be used in a useful fashion. I engaged in the Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Towns program and saw an opportunity to recycle tyres around the community creating planters and other tyre sculptures. Since leaving Mt Liebig and taking up residence in Alice Springs I have continued this work and started selling my pieces locally. Most of my works I have posted on a facebook site named G&T Retyred Craft. I continually look to create new pieces of art work all crafted from recycled tyre materials. While it is only a small part in protecting the environment, I enjoy the fact that each creation I make is one less tyre that is going into a landfill, or being stockpiled as an environmental hazard.

If you are interested in organising a workshop or would like to order any products or have a question please email me with contact information and I will get back to you
